ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS


IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES:


Orlando Program (weekend before and after ShowEast):

•  July 1st, 2009 – Submissions open

•  October 1st, 2009 (postmark) – Official entry deadline

•  October 10th, 2009 (arrive by) – Late entry deadline

  1. October 23rd-31st, 2009 – 2nd Annual 3D Film & Interactive Festival in Orlando



ENTRY FEES:

•  Official Deadline – Short Film, Commercials, Music Videos (under 35 minutes): $40; Feature Films (more than 40 minutes): $60; Video Game, Software, or Virtual World Title (Console or PC): $80

  1. Late Deadline -- All Content: $100


SUBMISSION NOTES: All entry fees paid to 3DFF are non-refundable. Please review all eligibility criteria and requirements prior to making a submission to the festival. Entry materials will not be returned.


WORKS IN PROGRESS: Projects that are not yet complete must be clearly marked “Work in Progress” or “Rough Cut”.  Please submit a written explanation of what will be altered or changed or what part of your project is missing from your draft, cut, or game.


STUDENTS:  3DFF will waive entry fees for students who submit their project to our festival.  You must submit a valid student ID card or letter from your school that verifies you are a student.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

To be eligible for consideration by 3DFF:

  1. -Entrants must fully comply with the Rules & Regulation

  2. -Non-English language works must have English subtitles

ENTRY MATERIALS

All entries must include the following: 

- The entry fee(s) which may be paid by check or money order (made payable

to Women in Film Las Vegas.

- Available press materials including project credit list, team bios, photos and at least one production still (hard copy or  jpeg). 

  1. -A 2-D DVD copy of the work labeled with the title and running time along with your contact information.

  2. -Work can also be submitted as electronic quicktime or avi files

  1. 3D Narrative Feature Films (animated or live action) (Eligible for Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Performance)

  2. 3D Short Films (animated or live action) (Eligible for Best Director and Best Performance)

  3. 3D Commercials (Eligible for Best Director and Best Performance)

  4. 3D Music Videos (Eligible for Best Director and Best Performance)

  5. 3D Television Program (animated or Live Action) (Eligible for Best Director and Best Performance)

  6. 3D Video Game (Eligible for Best Developer)


The 3D Film & Interactive Festival will also be giving out awards for technical achievement in the following categories:
